Florida Triumph TR3 & the bronze hammer

from Greg Phillips, in the Florida panhandle:
"Growing up in Alabama, we would have no more considered buying a Florida car than most of the country would buy a Maine car. " Too much rust, has to be there somewhere, must be a great Bondo job". I don't know its provenance, but this TR is sporting antique Florida plates and my money says, "no Bondo". What a beauty.

"The true wires get me every time. Morris Garage included in the MG tool kit a special tool to break free the knockoff spinners. What did MG trust to whack that beautiful chrome? A hammer, short handled with a soft bronze head that was stamped with a logo that said "Thor". Don't know if the TR had a Thor hammer, but I would like to think so.  Such a beautiful and delicate thing those wires are and a hammer named Thor to remove them with. Such is the practicality of the British, I guess.

"Six weeks in Apalachicola left so I'll step up the delivery of vehicle pictures, polished to rusted..."--GP
